- Free consent is the basis of a contractual relationship
- Contracts Act 1950 provides that :
"Two or more person are said to consent when they agree upon the same thing in the same sense . ( Section 13 )
- Consent is said to be free when it is not caused by coercion , undue influence , fraud , musrepresentation or mistake (refer to notes on Lecture 2 ) .
