Direct pumping from the main

• The high-rise building will be divided into two zones : lower zone and upper zone . 
• Each zone will be equipped with storage cistern . 
• The lower zone position must be determined based on head pressure reading from the main , so that water supplu from the main can reach to the storage cisternw ithout the aid of boaster pump
• The upper zone position where head pressure of the main is not enough , a pumping system is installed so that water can read the storage cistern on the upper zone . 
• The disadvantage of this method is that if the building is large the amount of water pumped from the main may cause a serious drop in pressure in other building supplied from the same main . 
• Thus this system is seldom approved by the authorities . 
• The method does however save the cost of break cistern , space inside building and costs .
