Fire COntainment

• The idea of fire containment is to contain the fire at the source , prevent fire and smoke spread within a building or from one building to another. 
• It prevents the rate of fire and smoke spreads that overtake the occupants rate of escape . 
• It works alongside the active fire protection ( ex. sprinkler systems ) to enhance occipant chances to escape in the event of a fire .
